 Game Overview:
The Chilliwack Chiefs will be visiting the Prince George Coliseum for the first time this season. The Spruce Kings have visited the team that knocked them out of the playoffs last year twice, falling 4-1 and 4-0 in their most recent meeting. Braiden Epp had the lone goal back on November 14th, a tip from in front of the net in his first shift back after taking a big hit from Jordan Kawaguchi.
Last season the Spruce Kings went 2-4-0-2 against the Chiefs, and were then swept in the second round of the playoffs. At home in the regular season, Prince George was 2-1-0-1 against the Chiefs, and lost two close games in the playoffs, each both by a score of 4-3.

Player to watch:
Spruce Kings:
Jarod Hovde – FWD: He scored his first goal against the Express last weekend, and will look to keep the points rolling in. Hovde is more of a defensive forward who is a key penalty killer, but has still had a fair amount of offensive chances this season.
Parker Colley – FWD: Has looked good on a line with fellow NE Chief alumni Kyle Johnson, and Delta native Cavin Tilsley. Colley has two goals this season, but scored his first with a goalie in the net last Friday after an empty netter in November against Surrey.

Chiefs:
Jordan Kawaguchi- FWD: Tied for the team lead in points, Kawaguchi has been a force this season, scoring three goals in two games. He is matched with Sukumuaran and Craighead for a fierce first line.
Jesse Lansdell -FWD: In two games against the Spruce Kings, he is tied with Kawaguchi, and Darien Craighead for three points against PG. Kawaguchi has three goals, Craighead has three assists, and Lansdell has evened it up with two helpers and goal.
