Season Series:  Spruce Kings are 0-5-0-1 vs Langley this season. 0-4 in Langley, and 0-1-0-1 at home.

 Game Overview:
Prince George has already been swept by the Chilliwack Chiefs this season, and they don’t want to allow two divisional teams to have that bragging right. The Spruce Kings came close to a win the last two times Langley visited, as the first game was decided in overtime, and the night after was a 5-2 loss with the final goal scored on a late odd man rush with Prince George pushing for a goal.
Prince George Home Record: 7-17-0-1
Spruce Kings Leading Scorer: Matt Stief: 4 goals / 36 assists / 40 points

Langley Road Record: 12-12-1-1
Rivermen Leading Scorer: Matthew Graham: 22 goals / 36 assists / 58 points

Player to watch:
Spruce Kings: As the co-leading point getter against Langley, Parker Colley will look to add to his season total of three assists against the Rivermen. Colley has been pretty streaky lately, collecting four points in three games in mid Januray, then going on a five game point streak followed by five points in three games. He doesn’t have any points in the past two matches, and will look to get the offence going at home. With two goals in his last two games, Kyle Johnson has taken the team lead for goals this season with 11. He leads forwards on the team with 36 points, and sits just four back of Matt Stief for 1st

Rivermen: With an assist in his first game in Prince George, Alec Capstick was also able to score his first of the BCHL. Of his six points this season, three of them have come against the Spruce Kings. Entering the second of two road games against Prince George, Matthew Graham was on a season high five game pointless drought. He scored once shorthanded, and added an assist in the 5-2 win, and hasn’t looked back scoring 12 points in his last 10 games.
