The BCHL AGM is underway this weekend in Surrey and representing the Prince George Spruce Kings are Ed Dempsey, Mike Hawes and Darcy Buryn. The three will embark in discussions that will help to shape the season and perhaps seasons to come at the league level. But what really goes on at the Annual General Meeting when representatives from seventeen teams and the league itself get behind closed doors. I'm sure you can speculate as much as I can or wish you could be a fly on the wall, but perhaps then you would find out that it is more tedious than entertaining.
During the three days of meetings, I will be catching up with Darcy Buryn, the President of the Prince George Spruce Kings, for thoughts and comments from the league meetings and perhaps insight into some of the changes that can be expected. Following a full day of meetings on Thursday, I had a chance to ask Darcy what transpired.

If everything goes according to plan, there will be a part two posted on Friday night and a final wrapup following an intense Saturday where all teams will be creating their sixty game schedules to make up the 2009/10 BCHL season.
